As infinite as creation is, the Instinct that activates it (often referred to as The Creator), is equally vast and undefinable. As humans, part of our joy is to materialize that which cannot be understood, into forms with whom we can relate. The same Instinct that lives in The Creator lives in us, and through our design, we harmonize with the Great Designer, and thus, bring Love, the essence of this Glorious Instinct, into the world.
The Creator has been conceptualized as many different things including The Dancer, The Weaver, The Singer, The Painter, The Poet, The Seer, etc. Here I sing of Her as The Potter. In my opinion, there is no wrong visualization, no one true gender, no name above any others, only impressions of the Elaborate Divine, and expressions of the same, but with our beautiful human experience fused into it. With that, I share with you part of a creation story, of which we are all continuing to write.
With vibration, Your fingers made the earth,
In celebration, You mixed up the dirt
You made a ball of clay and strung us around the sun
We revolve around it, like breathing lungs
In every part of creation, there is a design
A green fern’s formation, mirrors my spine
From the rivers in our hands, to the stars in our eyes
It’s all spun on, Your wheel of life
There is a potter who sits in her garden
Spinning the world with love
Making the shapes and breaking the waves
Forming the continents of us
There is a potter who sits in her garden
Spinning the world with love
Molding the clay in Her own name
She is what we are made of
They say earth, water, fire, and air, ingredients You mix,
Who, what, when, and where, shaped in Your image,
You sing over the wheel, to give it spirit, A
s life unfolds, I sing because I hear it
In every part of creation, there is a design
A green fern’s formation, mirrors my spine
From the rivers in our hands, to the stars in our eyes
It’s all spun on, your great wheel of life
There is a potter who sits in Her garden
Spinning the world with love
Making the shapes and breaking the waves
Forming the continents of us
There is a potter who sits in Her garden
Spinning the world with love
Molding the clay in Her own name
She is what we are made of
She is what we are made of (She makes us)
She is what we are made of (She makes us)
She is what we are made of (She makes us)
She is what we are made of
In every part of creation, there is a design
In all my relations, I see my eyes
In every part of creation, there is a design
It’s all spun on Your wheel of life
